1. Status of the Society
Jumbo Credit & Thrift Co-operative Society Ltd. is a credit and thrift co-operative society registered with the Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Rajasthan and governed by the Rajasthan Co-operative Societies Act, 2001, the Rajasthan Co-operative Societies Rules, 2003 and its registered bye-laws (effective 20 December 2013). Its area of operation comprises Karauli, Dholpur, Bharatpur, Alwar, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa, Jaipur districts of Rajasthan, as approved by the Registrar by order dated 06 December 2013. In accordance with its bye-laws, the Society is not controlled or operated by the Government.
2. The Society is not a bank
The Society is not a bank and does not hold a banking licence. It is not regulated by the Reserve Bank of India as a bank. Deposits with the Society are not covered by the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC) and are not guaranteed by any Government agency. References on this website to "deposits", "savings" or "accounts" describe the Society's schemes for its members under its bye-laws and must not be understood as banking services.
3. Services are for members only
Under bye-law 3.2 the Society accepts deposits only from its members, and under bye-law 19.1 it lends only to its members. Nothing on this website is an invitation to the general public to place deposits or an offer of credit to non-members. Membership is subject to eligibility under the Act and bye-laws and to the approval of the Board of Directors.
4. No guaranteed returns
Interest rates and maturity values shown on this website are those printed in the Society's scheme booklet for the schemes described. They are not a guarantee or assurance of return. Scheme terms may be revised by the Society in accordance with its bye-laws, which require approval of the General Body and the Registrar for changes in the deposit policy. Members should read the scheme rules and their deposit receipt for the terms that apply to them.
5. Figures and statistics
Indicators such as "₹100+ crore" and "30,000+ members" are figures provided by the Society for general information. They are not presented as audited figures and may change. Audited financial statements are placed before the Annual General Meeting and filed with the Registrar in accordance with the bye-laws. Other indicators (area of operation, Board size) are drawn from the official documents published on this website.
6. Scheme terms
Summaries of deposit schemes and loan facilities on this website are for information only. The scheme rules, the lending policy, the bye-laws and the specific terms recorded at the time of the transaction prevail. Where a term is not stated on this website, it is because the Society's published document does not specify it; please obtain the applicable terms from the Society office.
7. Official documents
Official documents on the Documents page are reproduced from the Society's records. Originals are in Hindi; English summaries on this website are provided for convenience and, in case of any inconsistency, the original document prevails. The Society does not warrant that documents published here are the complete set of its records.
8. No professional advice
The content of this website is not financial, legal or tax advice. Please take independent advice where appropriate before making decisions about membership, deposits or loans.
9. Member portal
The Member Services area is a prototype interface. Online login is not enabled, no member data is available through the website, and the Society will never ask for passwords, PINs or OTPs through this website, by e-mail or by phone. Members should treat any such request as fraudulent and report it to the Society office.
