Bye-law 3.1A member-owned credit and thrift co-operative society, registered in Karauli and operating across seven districts of Rajasthan under its registered bye-laws.
Jumbo Credit & Thrift Co-operative Society Ltd. is a credit and thrift co-operative society. It is owned by its members, governed by the General Body of members, and managed by a Board of Directors elected under the Rajasthan Co-operative Societies Act, 2001.
The Society accepts deposits only from its members and lends only to its members. Its purpose, as set out in the registered bye-laws, is to encourage thrift, to protect members' savings, and to meet members' domestic, social and business needs with credit on reasonable terms — all under the supervision of the Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Rajasthan.
From its registered office at Ajay Niwas, Gulab Bag, Karauli, the Society serves members across Karauli, Dholpur, Bharatpur, Alwar, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa and Jaipur districts, an area of operation approved by the Registrar in December 2013.
The bye-laws define why the Society exists. Everything it offers must serve one of these objects.

Bye-law 3.1To accept deposits only from members and to run a range of savings schemes that answer members' needs.
Bye-law 3.2To guide members on the prudent investment of their money.
Bye-law 3.3To lend to members for domestic, social, business and other needs on reasonable terms, in accordance with the Society's loan policy.
Bye-laws 3.4, 3.5To provide loans at reasonable interest and to raise resources through security and term deposits and borrowings for these objects.
Bye-law 3.6To undertake any other activity that helps achieve the objects above.
Bye-law 3.7Originally limited to Karauli district, the Society's area of operation was extended by the Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Rajasthan by order dated 06 December 2013, on the basis of the General Body's resolution of 02 June 2013 and the Assistant Registrar's inspection and recommendation.
Membership is open to eligible residents of these districts. Under the bye-laws, operating in more than one district requires the Society to maintain a higher minimum share capital and to enrol at least one hundred members in every new district.

The registered bye-laws establish a clear chain of accountability from every member to the elected Board.
The final authority of the Society. Meets at least once a year within six months of the financial-year end, approves accounts, elects the Board and decides on bye-law amendments.
Bye-laws 10.1–10.3Twelve members elected for five years, with seats reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and women. Frames policy, sanctions loans, manages funds and answers to the General Body.
